2010 – New Year, New Goals
As the new year enters, I’ve decided to sit down and take some serious thought into my goals for 2010. I usually don’t keep any resolutions, because lets face it, you end up breaking them after two weeks. But, I think this year will be different and I am determined to stick with my goals.
- First of all, as you may notice from my previous post (June 2009), I haven’t really kept this whole blogging thing up. That will change! My goal is to blog at least two to three times a month with interesting, short, and humorous posts. I also want these post to be engaging and colorful. Not just text, but videos, images, and stuff I find interesting. For example, have you seen this video I was in when I interned at nGenera? [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGgKvBa8zRE]
- Secondly, I am on pace to graduate this May with two summer classes to finish up my degree. My goal is to finish my college career and finally get that degree in Public Relations.
- Thirdly, I want to secure a job before the time I graduate. I would like to work with social media for either an agency or corporate. But whatever may happen, my goal is to be employed by the time summer comes around.
- Fourth, I want to start getting in the habit of going to the gym. Last summer, I had a well thought out routine, but fall semester came around and the routine took a back seat to 17 hours of class. My goal is to at least go to the gym for an hour, three times a week. This may involve some time management, but I think I am up to the challenge.
- Finally, my most important goal is by far the last one. I want to stay in touch with my old high school friends and those I have known throughout my time in Austin. Not only is my goal to keep in better touch with everyone, but I want to build a better relationship with my own family. I have been somewhat distant with some of my closest relatives, but my goal is to change this because I don’t know what will happen in 2010. But, I know I don’t want to regret anything if something does happen.

What are your plans for 2010?
